Privacy Policy

Soberly is local-first. Your habit and recovery records stay on your device: qiqo.dev does not receive, sell, or share that content. The App has no account system or cloud sync. The App is supported by Google AdMob, which may process limited device and usage data to provide advertising.

The App stores the information you choose to enter so its features can work. This may include:

• Habit names, start dates, check-ins, streaks, and daily status history
• Optional relapse triggers and notes
• Optional cost and time estimates used to calculate savings
• Preferences such as theme selection and onboarding state

This information may be sensitive because it can describe recovery or personal habits. It remains in the App's private storage on your device and is not transmitted to qiqo.dev.

You may choose to export a backup or share a file using Android's system interfaces. Nothing is exported automatically. Once you send or save an exported file outside the App, its handling depends on the destination you choose, such as your file provider, messaging app, email provider, or cloud-storage service.

Protect exported backups as you would any other sensitive personal file. Import reads only the backup file you explicitly select through the system file picker.

The App uses internet access to request and display advertisements from Google AdMob. It does not request precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, notification, or broad storage permissions. File selection and sharing use Android's system-provided picker and share sheet.

Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. Depending on your region, consent choices, and device settings, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:

• Advertising or other device identifiers
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Device, operating-system, language, and app information
• Ad views, clicks, diagnostics, and other ad-interaction data

This advertising data is handled by Google and its partners, not combined by qiqo.dev with the recovery records stored in the App. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

The App does not use Firebase Analytics or an independent analytics service.

Where required, the App uses Google's consent flow before requesting personalized advertising. Depending on availability and applicable law, you may receive non-personalized or limited ads, withdraw or update your consent from the App's privacy settings, and manage advertising controls in your Google or Android settings.

Your choice about ad personalization does not change how your habit and recovery records are stored: that content remains local to your device.

Your information stays on your device until you edit it, delete it, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling or clearing storage deletes the App's local data. Any backup files you exported are separate and must be deleted from their saved locations by you.

The App is not directed to children under 13, and qiqo.dev does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

We may update this policy if the App's features or data practices change. The revised policy will appear on this page with a new last-updated date.
